Maybe he doesn't know the Cavs have interest. Boston is probably going to sign Starbury after he gets bought out. They have 1.9 million of the MLE left, and then all they have after that is the vet minimum, which is like...800 grand.

We have the full MLE(5.6 Million).

I think he's a Cavalier for sure if he gets bought out.

I'd love to have R-Jeff, but Portland looks like the favorite. Portland could be really tough if they get Jefferson.

Unless we're offering less than Boston, I wonder why he wouldn't want to come back to the Cavs to finish what we left unfinished last year!!! We're in a way better position to face them this year than the year before. I would hate for him to go to Boston cuz he's trying to win a championship, only to get ousted by the Cavs on their way to a championship!!!! :chuckles:

Portland is also in talks for Vince Carter and Gerald Wallace, among others likely. Who knows if Jefferson is their top choice.
 
Hopefully something happens between now and 3:00. I'm going to bed, better way to pass the time than sitting here waiting for Windhurst to burst any trade bubble we have going on in our heads ;)

Let's hope portland leaves RJ alone. if they do, it seems like the cavs are the best fit remaining.

Windy has really annoyed me lately. Anytime there's a glimmer of hope, Winds steps up with a random post on his blog saying that it's not possible and we're fooling ourselves in thinking it was possible.
