I'll be laughing my butt off at these teams that stand pat when they know they either need or want to cut salary, but don't cuz they think they can still make the playoffs- and DON'T!!!(hope that made sense!!!)

I find it hilarious that the Wizards GM doesn't want to make a move cuz he wants to see what the team is like with Gil and Haywood back.... Um, hello... Haven't you seen what you had in that team the past 3-4 years. A first round knockout. That's the potential you're waiting around for...

Anyways, I hope Portland plays this one wrong and RJ is still there. Wallace would be a nice Plan B (or Plan J at this point :chuckles:)

If Baron was a Larry Brown type of guy, maybe... I Don't know though. Doesn't Felton have to go somewhere?

That trade is more a product of me being a delusional Cavs fan. lol

Can you imagine Camby and Wallace?

A+ Post. For real....all these teams are ridiculous....behind the scenes....teams are contacting other teams to let them know they have players available. Losing money is no joke here. Right now, basketball and money go together. If Sarver is really hurting, I would care less (not completely lol) what the so-called experts say about my team....look at the past, then look to the future...what do you see?

I agree completely BigMar... I can't really tell what it is though. You don't wanna trade someone who you think will make your team better. And if you do, you take a risk of losing ticket sales. But at the same time, you're paying for a product you're putting on the court, that's not getting you anywhere.

And the killing thing is, a team like the Wizards, aren't going anywhere. They're not a contender AT ALL. Your gonna pay more next year for what you say is your core. And your stars aren't getting any younger. Where is the win in that equation?!?!

It's pretty complex for any team... bad teams that aren't making money still have to turn a profit next year, and most teams turn profits during the offseason when they can sell the fan base on "the future." That only happens if there is some young talent on the roster.

I'm trying hard to keep my trade posting to a minimum lately and just stick to humor and moderating instead, but the Portland roster shouts out: "big deal coming down the pike." Lafentz is a great trading chip, and they have tons of tradeable assets to pair with thier huge expiring.

These teams will keep pretending they don't want to trade for straight salary cap relief... at least publicly. But come deadline, someone's gonna pull the trigger for Wally. No doubt in my mind.

I always tell myself not to get excited, but I always do. Hopefully, we'll get some good news tomorrow.

Who do you think we get for Wally?
