Round 4 - Pick 111 - Dawand Jones, OT, Ohio State

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Dude would INSTANTLY toughen up the Cavs frontcourt. Watch him get signed by the Cavs, find his motivation realizing his dreams and drop all that weight, and become the first NBA/NFL star as a bruising forward and dominant tackle.
You stole my idea! :chuckle:

Tractor Traylor, RIP, could have been a DL.

Still one of the most lopsided draft night deals in NBA history, The right to Tractor for Dirk Nowitzki and Pat Garrity.

The Garrity pick the Bucks used was from the Cavs in the Shawn Kemp trade the year prior. Within hours of being drafted, he was traded with Nowitzki to Dallas, then again in a package to Phoenix for Steve Nash. The next year traded in a package to Orlando for Penny Hardaway. He averaged over 40% 3PT for his career before his knee injury.

Was the Nowitzki draft pick the greatest gamble/payoff in NBA history? 20 year old tall German dude playing club basketball?

Can’t believe both of you guys came up with this same terrible @Lee dad joke just because he’s a fat guy who likes to play basketball.

Waiting patiently for his hype video to see how many dunks he converts.

I gotchu:

Hype.

Video.

Dunks.

Dude did literally everything but drain a 3. Blocks. Dunks. Slick passing from the post. Rebounds. Bad ass Lovesque outlet passes. Tip backs. Owning the offensive boards. Dominating a bunch of shorter guys. Cavs need to sign him just so the Knicks dont put him out there to crush the Lollipop Guild.

What kind of dunks are we talking about? 20 piece McNuggets or Smash Burgers?

I really like Dawand. The one question I keep having is why is his footwork so bad with a basketball background?

That was HS. Hadn’t had a chance to pursue his dream at the college level yet.

Have you ever tried to quickly change directions with a 370 pound frame? :chuckle:

In his interview with Zegura, Cedric Tillman said he originally wanted to be in the NBA but his dad talked him out of it; along with him only being 6'3"...
