Tyson Chandler

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
If the Cavs dont get either Bosh,Amare, or Chandler this offseason i will be very upset. If we dont get one of them now are offseason is a failure, and the Cavs future is at stake.

Well, they are all of about the same talent and quality level. :chuckles:

I think all these big names like BOSH and CHANDLER are just setting ourselves up for disappointment. I know the rumors are flying but I still remain unconvinced we have the ammo to pull off a deal for any of these guys. And even then, are these really the dudes we want?

I just think it's funny that people are putting Chandler in the same tier as Bosh and Amare.

All depends on what else the FO does. Whether it's one of those guys or someone who fills a big need on this team, it doesn't neccessarily need to be a big name guy. All three may be options for us as well. Chandler, Amare, Bosh in order of our chances imo. If it comes down to a bidding war, West could be the deciding factor with his performance this past season.

But, does the right deal come along where it's worth West. Chandler, no. Amare, maybe. Bosh, yes. Tough decisions this offseason, glad I'm not making them.

Bet the Trade Machine is needing an overhaul right about now:chuckles:

We definetly have the ammo to pull off a trade for Stoudamire and easily for Chandler. Bosh said he wants to play with Wade, and I feel we would have to trade to much for him so I doubt we get him for sure.

Haha I've been wondering the same thing. Bosh and Amare are offensive powerhouses and can be considered faces of franchises. Chandler is an athletic 7 footer who never developed a post game.

I never put them in the same tier. I simply named three players I believe the Cavs need to committ to and trade to get one.

If it's true Amare has shit draining out of his eye every day or whatever and still can't do much of anything physical, I'd pass on him even if we could get him.

I'll tell you what im not gonna do. Im not going to get excited about anything about what i read from other sites such as real gm or hoops hype or anything cause i made the mistake of getting my hopes up then and look what happened, nothing happened. Not going to happen again for me

I see chandler as the most obtainable personally, maybe amare if they are serious about moving him. Unfortunetly we only have average trading chips, so for those who dont want either because of health concerns, remember low risk is low reward...if you want to get a player for very little you have to buy low...ie when they are injured or on not so favorable contracts.

I think amare is by far the better plaeyer, but to me chandler makes the most sense. If the orginzation is still high on JJ developing...and i see no reason why not, he is still only 20,...we need a defensive minded young big to put next to him, bring Darnell, Z and AV off the bench....if JJ never develops though, that would set us back considerably on big men for the future...unless ofcourse we include JJ's potential in a trade now for someone like lets say amare.

If Ben Wallace negotiates a 5 million dollar buyout then we can package his deal along with Sasha's. The accepting team will receive 20 million in cap relief while only paying 6.5 million guaranteed.

Couple that fact with our 1st rounder and JJ Hickson, I dont think we have "AVERAGE" trading chips. Now the Ben thing is a big if, but if it does happen then his contract is about on par with a young rising star for a financially struggling franchise. His contract can heal a lot of teams wounds.

Get ready for disappointment.

Look, it's not just up to the Cavs to make a deal. Like Ferry wouldn't pull the trigger on a Wallace, JJ, two top draft pick type trade for Bosh? Hell, I'll drive JJ to the airport if that's all it takes.

But put yourself in the position of a GM for one of those teams. Chandler we might be able to get if the Hornets are still desperate to dump salary. But Bosh and Amare? Why would a GM hand over his young superstar for the BS package the Cavs could offer? Doing that deal is about as retarded as the Suns offering us Shaq's expiring contract to get LeBron. Teams in this league don't give away star players. Stop dreaming.

Well to be fair, you could group Amare and Chandler.

Each is really good on one side of the ball and mediocre-to-bad on the other.

Bosh is more complete than either of them.

Unfortunately i dont think were going to get either amare or bosh. The suns want a reliable big man back and have talked to the wizzards who have much more to offer than us. And bosh will give it another go if marion resigns. Perhaps by midseason hell get disapointed again and want traded. But until than im sure theyre not eagered to get rid of him and will do anything in there power to keep him.

Realisticaly us getting a chandler with just bens contract is big. If we can sign a charlie v that too would be big and better than what we have now.
Than if we want to sign n trade wildthing along with jj or sasha for some significant than great.

I love watching wildthing he can piss anyone off, and he has great chemistry with lebron and gives us a lot of second chance points. I just hate to pay to much. However i suspect he may have to be included if we have a chance at a big time player.

But hell u never can guess these things. who would of thought the nuggets would of traded what they did for camby? or mo? or pau gasol? So with that maybe we can trade wally for bosh lol
