What should the Cavs get for Anderson Varejao?

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I know the Rockets are interested.

We could definately do an expiring in Jeffries, a young guy like Budinger and a pick mid to late first rounder in 2012.

Might not be enough, but it isn't an insulting offer.

I would like to get Jordan Hill from the Rockets if we're giving up AV.

If we are trading AV, we had better get more than Chase Bud. I can't see this happening.

I'll shoot myself if we get Budinginger. If we wanted him we could have gotten him in the draft.

I think Jordan Hill and Courtney Lee would be a good place to start.

I do think the Rockets would be the best trading partner involving Andy, the other team would be Portland.

Both teams have expirings and picks/young players.

I would strongly consider a deal involving Jordan Hill and two firsts. Your offer isn't insulting but ultimately I'm not a huge Budinger fan and would need a second pick if they're both going to be in that 17-23 range.

Well Lee is out of the question, he fits perfectly with what we are doing. His numbers have gone through the roof

Hill might be possible, since Andy is a replacement big, although I really really like Jordan Hill.

As for picks, we only have so many that can moved.

Terrence Williams/Jordan Hill and a 2nd rounder for AV. :)

This is all we have, plus remember you cant have two consecutive years without future firsts.

I would do it, although I dont think the salaries line up.

I'd take Twill and Jordan Hill for AV.

Terrance has good size for a SG, and Jordan Hill strikes me as an AV-lite type of player. And it would certainly add a large amount of athleticism to our squad...

They only make a combined ~5 million though, and they don't really have any other contracts to throw in. Jeffries is an expiring, I don't think they want to use him on this deal. If they did then we could throw in one of our wing players, or part of the TPE.

I don't know why they would even want AV though...they aren't exactly contending...and they just acquired Terrence.

Andy, JJ, Boobie and AP for Harden, Ibaka and Maynor. I think OKC would have to add a contract to make it work. They need Andy's toughness and a knock down shooter like Boobie. They could use AP's defense and shooting off the bench and they get a player who they may think has a lot of potential in JJ. We get Harden and Ibaka as our future at SG and PF and we get a good PG in Maynor who could surprise.
