Agree to an extent. But it also confirms people's belief's (right or wrong) of what type of person you are and establishes a behavioral pattern that can be confirmed. i doubt any team is going to want to pay for wally's buy out, and that includes cleveland. Who could the cavs sign that is better than west? the free agent market is dry at this point of the year.

you're the one who said that we could sign a FA. i only said that there aren't any free agents out there worth signing. Besides, the chances of getting howard for Wally only are slim to none. Probably closer to none.

I don't know about AK47, I don't think he is really worth the money he is getting. I would rather use that 2010 cap space on Gerald Wallace.

Just to throw another name in the hat: David Lee from the Knicks for Wally (& maybe a draft pick). What would be nice if we can convince them to buy out Wally's deal too, so we can get him back and keep the chemistry of Wally's rear-slapping of teammates.

Huh??? G-Force is locked up for 5 years. He won't be a free agent in 2010.

If you meant if you had the option to trade for either one, you'd take Crash, then I'd agree. However, I think Wallace has a lot more positive value than AK47.

Yeah that is what I meant. If I could trade for either one, knowing that they would block us from getting a Bosh type player, I'd rather have G-Force than AK47.

David is in his 3rd season, and putting up monster numbers. I do not think he has hit his ceiling yet - he will definitely be a 20+ 10+ guy for years to come. Is he attainable though?

Insurance in case Andy bolts? They're both going to be free agents this offseason, looking for around the same amount. If we're not willing to pay Andy, we wouldn't be willing to pay Lee either.

Hypothetically who would you rather have here in the long term...Andy or David Lee. I think Lee is definitely a better scorer but Andy is much improved in that area this year as well. That would be a decision that would require some thought and debate...all hypothetical of course because it's not going to be an issue most likely.
