If the Bucks franchise crashes, but no Milwaukee fans are around, does it still make a sound?
I think so..

In other Milwaukee news the Brewers lost their third straight and 7 of their last 10. Their lead over the Cubs is down to just 3.5 games. In a related story, TJ is nowhere to be found.

Last I checked, both the Brewers and Tigers were still in first place. :king:

More news from China...(and make no mistake, the Bucks and the NBA still have Yi's "handlers" by the scrotum and eventually they'll have to say uncle)

Yi and Chinese National Team arrived at Beijing airport today. Reporter interviews Yi. He first repeated the same party line comments like before. However, when reporter asked him about the rumor that he may sit out whole year to re-enter draft. Yi was shocked. "Did you see this on internet? I did not even know about this."

Doesn't sound like sitting out a year is anywhere near Yi's conscious mind (Yi's only option which would effectively cripple China's already weak Olympic chances). Someone will get fired (Fegan) before China allows Yi to sit out a year. The Chinese club that owns Yi has already said that returning to China will not be an option. As far as the Bucks are concerned, a trade of any kind is not an option here. Essentially, the Bucks are taking a stand for small market franchises.

Surely, no one will have to explain to Yi that in the unlikely event that he does sit out a year from professional basketball to re-enter next year's draft that there are no garauntees that the Bucks or another small market team won't draft him AGAIN! :chuckles:

The same team that has 4 winning seasons since 1991?

That team?

The Milwaukee Sucks?

What was your record again last year?

The team that has won more titles and been to the playoffs more times than the Cavs throughout history (including more times this decade). A team that lost more starter games to injuries than any team last season. A team that if healthy would have easily made the playoffs AGAIN. Yes that team.

And again I ask, what was your record in the Finals last year?

And furthermore, how many titles has your Franchise won?

What was your record again last year?

Same team with 4 winnings seasons the last 18 years?

Is that the team that is still talking?

The team that is trying to use the Finals as a comeback when his team is so pathetic they couldnt even sniff the playoffs in the very weak East?

That team?

The team that some asain that lives thousands of miles away knows how shitty Milwaukee is.

The team who has no shot of getting to the Finals with there core roster. The sucks wont get to the finals anytime soon with the scrubs on there team.

TJ playing the role of Scratchy the cat here...:chuckles:

Yi says: "Trade him, or he will indeed go back to China next season"

http://sports.sina.com.cn/cba/2007-07-17/02453044678.shtml

It's in Chinese.. But trust me.. :chuckles:

Guangdong Tiger chairman Chen Hai Tu said if Yi will not be traded to another NBA team then Yi will play in CBA next season. Dan Fegan has called 3 to 4 NBA teams. If the Bucks refuse to trade Yi, then Yi wont go to Milwauke and stay in CBA.

Yi isn't efficient enough to play for the Bucks anyways.

I'm gonna laugh if this guy steps on the court in the NBA and sucks more then Yiri Welsh.

Chinese Club Will Block Yi's Move To Milwaukee
July 17, 2007 - 10:41 am
ESPN -
The Milwaukee Bucks ' campaign to secure the services of reluctant power forward Yi Jianlian has suffered a blow after the player's Chinese club said it would block his move to the United States.

Yi, taken by Milwaukee with the sixth selection in the NBA draft last month, would "definitely not" play for Milwaukee, Tuesday's Beijing News quoted Guangdong Tigers chief, Chen Haitao, as saying.

"This is not -- as media reports have said -- because Milwaukee, as a city with very few Chinese people, is not good for Yi's commercial development," Chen said.

"Rather we want to find a team suitable for Yi's growth. That's the root of the problem," he added.
