No adjustments at all or just no adjustments specifically related to Dean? And it was 3 minutes of garbage time and 13 minutes prior. So not a tight scripted 5+5
Dean played well, for whatever reason, he was one of two players on the night with a minute in +/- and that didn’t come from the 3 minutes of garbage time when they were +4
And for example, should he have interrupted the 19-0 run in the third quarter with an early substitution? And who amongst Allen, Mickey, Niang, and Dean played poorly last night?
You had Mitchell playing only 30 minutes, most on the team., you had LeVert playing 5 minutes less then his season average to help continue to make room for Merrill.
You had Garland coming back at the end of the first. Quarter so that it wasn’t LeVert running the point. You had Merrill coming in at 8 minutes left in the 2nd quarter instead of ti start the second quarter.
Most importantly you had the whole team playing well collectively and individually on the whole.
So then how was last nights game an example of purely sticking to a script?
