I'm myopic because I'm pointing out the fact that the starting QB of the Browns has been historically bad? Even though the evidence clearly backs that fact up?
There's no way to spin it positively other than MAYBE Kizer's age, which is stretching it.
Tim Couch played for one of the least talented teams in NFL history in 1999 and wasn't this bad. David Carr got sacked SEVENTY SIX TIMES in his rookie year in 2002 and wasn't this bad.
Kizer's processing speed is significantly too slow and his accuracy when he does make the right read simply isn't good enough. Blame the WRs, RBs, TEs and OL all you want, but Kizer's doing all same the things that made him a sub-60% passer in college, only against bigger and faster defenders.
