The 2014 Cavs Off-Season Thread (not coaching-related)

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
This guy is our Bosh a power forward who just hangs out at the 3 point line and does no rebounding.

Matt Bonner is more like it. I am just curious about how this will affect our cap space, since the goal was to preserve as much as possible before July 1.

I cant imagine they are dumb enough to let this Croatian dude interfere with getting Lequit but what do I know?

Not that they will, but they could hold off making his signing official until things play out in FA to maintain flexibility. Then make the necessary moves to fit Rudez. I tried to find what he was being paid in Spain, but had no luck. Hopefully we are paying him far less than the $3 mil per year that the Nets gave Mirza Teletovic.

Sounds like 2 things are for sure: Bennett is gonna start and TT is gone.

Wont be Houston's choice. If someone wants to shell out the money Houston will have to let him go

It will be though. That was the point of making him an RFA this year as opposed to an UFA next year. His cap hold is minuscule, so they won't need to relinquish his rights to create room for anyone (Asik and Lin are a different story).

I think what happens with Thompson is tied to what we do at center. Big we keep Hawes then Thompson fits. If we get a low post center, like Embiid, then Bennett is a better fit beside him.

Thompson didn't fit with Hawes either really. Other teams would just play their PF on Hawes to limit his jump shooting opportunities and it killed us numerous times.

Uhm.

Someone explain to me how "Will move Waiters and Thompson" and "Neither "on block"" goes together?

Because The Bullshit Whisperer.

But assuming he meant to say "Willing to move" but was limited by 140 characters

Moving Waiters feels like we would be taking Jabari.
